Michael Doyle grew up near Grand Rapids, MI and all his life enjoyed the great outdoors, specifically hunting, fishing, and trapping. At a young age he paid a local artistic taxidermist to preserve his most memorable hunting and fishing trophies. Everything from a brown trout to a few Whitetail deer shoulder mounts. That experience created a desire to want to explore Taxidermy as more than a hobby. He was intrigued by the beauty of an animal even in a motionless state. What intrigued him even more was the ability of one person’s skills to recreate such beauty. 

Even as a young boy, from then on he knew what he was meant to do. 

At the age of 21, Michael Doyle decided to fulfill his dream and explore the wonderful world of Taxidermy. He attended the Academy of Realistic Taxidermy in northern Montana. There, he went through a very challenging learning process with numerous world class instructors and developed the skills to create wildlife art. That is the number one reason for doing Taxidermy for him, to bring an animal “Back to life with such realism.” Creating a unique piece of art for a client, or preserving that once in a lifetime trophy is what Doyle Wildlife Taxidermy strives for with every piece. Along with attending one of the most prestigious schools in wildlife art, Michael has continued his training through the aid of other world class instructors. With this added training, Michael has been the recipient of numerous awards at the state and world level competitions.
